Santana's 'Supernatural' 10th Year anniversary---2-CD Legacy Edition due July 14th

It was 10 years ago when radio stations began playing "Smooth",which was soon followed by the mid-June release of 'Supernatural',one of the biggest comeback albums ever.Let's celebrate the 10th anniversary of this album, which will be re-released on July 14th as a 2-CD Legacy Edition.

Holy Shit! It's been 10 years already?!!! Feels like maybe 3 to me. Getting old sucks in terms of time flying by.

But this reminds me I have a still sealed copy sitting around somewhere that I've been meaning to take to the used store to trade in for something I like better.

"Put Your Lights On" with Everlast

Wow,this album is filled with guest artists who seemingly disappeared.Remember Everlast??

There's also a song with Eagle Eye Cherry.

"Smooth", which was written by Thomas, was originally meant for George Michael to sing with Santana. After Santana heard Rob's vocals, he insisted that Rob sing the song.

The tracklist for the Legacy Edition hasn't been revealed yet.I assume it will include a few of the remixes of "Maria,Maria" and "Smooth".A few years before this album,Carlos and his band recorded an album called 'Serpents And Doves' which remains unreleased.I wish they would finally release that entire album as part of this set.

I like these Legacy Edition sets, especially the ones that include alot of previously unreleased material.I wish that Prince's classic albums were re-released this way.

It's a great cd. I still enjoying listening to it even after 10 years. I do prefer Santana's work without all the collaborations, but this one is a keeper.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Yeah,I heard that story. It might have been interesting with George on lead vocals. When this CD was being recorded, there were alot of rumors about who would appear on it.Prince and Maxwell were even mentioned.

I prefer this CD to it's sequel, "Shaman". I did not like that one at all...
