His music wasn't bad, in quite it was funky, but he just never connected for some reason and I don't just think it was the Don Cornelius shit that did him in

One thing that pisses me off: why does his 'Best Of' CD contain the single edit of this song?! Makes no sense.It's not as if he had so many hits that they didn't have enough room to fit it all on the CD.I have the 'You And I' album on vinyl but I still can't see why they used a lame single edit for the compilation.

Man... I use to be all over this sucka', when I was spinnin' on tha 1's and 2's. ...I'm gonna' hafta' post a mix someday.
