This had my attention with just the lineup of Hagar/Satch/Chad Smith

This sounds like a cool little modern rock album with no auto tune. Down the Drain is a heavy ditty. It's like a debut in the way of Led Zeppelin,Van Halen,ZZ Top.
You can tell they have alot chemistry listening to these tracks. And wouldn't you know it, I dont mind if Michael Anthony is in the group, he holds it down.

These two got those rhythmic shuffle passages that alot of bands wouldn't do. I'd love to see Prince and Chickenfoot together on one stage. It's cool to see Satch get his group rockstar moment on finally instead of just being a session/gig sideman. I kind of wish Satch would be in avant band but I understand the time and energy into a project like this has to hit the public ears in order for this vehicle to propel forward.

I am not that big of a Satriani fan(Vai is the man) but I can't wait to hear this. I am going to see Chickenfoot at the Fillmore(SF) on 5/17. It sold out quickly, but I was able to get a single. It should be an incredible show.

I like Satch but precisely because he's instrumental. I don't really like rock vocals.
