Mint Condition's newest single "Moan" off their latest album "E-Life" that was released on May 6th, 2008, which features the hit singles "Baby Boy Baby Girl" & "Nothing Left to Say".

"Nothing Left to Say" was Mint Condition's first Top 30 R&B hit in a decade, which peaked at No. 3 on Mediabase Urban AC charts, No. 27 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs & No. 1 on both Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip Hop Recurrent Songs & Recurrent Airplay.

[LYRICS]
Written by O'Dell; Stokley; Lawrence Waddell

I feel the heat emanating
Flickering shadows frame your skin
Sensual aurora of your body
Like sweet incense I breathe you in
Tracing paths of anticipation
As you move my hand along your thigh
Watchin your eyes casing my body
Honey you know you got me high

[HOOK]:

So bring it on girl
And we can get it on girl
I'll do whatever I need to do lady
To make you Moan girl
Wanna hear you call my name
Cause then Ill know girl
That Im doin it right for you honey
When I hear you Moan girl

[2nd verse]:

You know your so intoxicating
Chemistry way off the charts
You got me jonesing for you honey
The way you love me be a work of art
Awww Girl just let me put it to you
Whatever you want thats alright
Be getting it on like Kama Sutra
And you know I know just what you like

[HOOK]:

So bring it on girl
And we can get it on girl
I'll do whatever I need to do lady
To make you Moan girl
Wanna hear you call my name
Cause then I'll know girl
That I'm doin it right for you honey
When I hear you Moan girl

[BRIDGE]:

There aint no need in us tryin to shake it
Girl you know just how we do (How we do)
No more teasing, no more playin
Time for you to sing your song
Moon to morning long

REPEAT HOOK

[Stokley at the end]

We're at the High of Passion
Gurl let's take that forth
This part of the the thrill will take without a Pause
I can't image life without this ecstasy
And I never want to without you and me
Been jonesing gurl, I love the way you that believe me
I hope you feel the same about what you're recieving
And now it's time for me to make you lose control
Now more words, Just wanna hear you

MOAN

Confirmed that this will be the next single:

I was afraid that they weren't going to release another single
from E-Life. I like this song but you know the naysayers are
gonna say it sounds like R.Kelly which it does but hell
mint does r.kelly better than r.kelly himself.

IMO it should have been the first single. ...My favorite song on the E-Life CD.

Video coming soon! I'll update as soon as I get more info!

I guess they're making the video earlier than they did "Nothing Left to Say" because the video didn't even come til 6 months [January 2009] after the song was added to the radio stations [July 2008], and by that time, the song had already peaked at No.4 and was dying down on the charts.....

and yes.. it should've been the 1st or the 2nd single...

I think they released their singles the right way. If there was
to be a better first single than baby boy, baby girl it should
have been golddigger.

It seems they have stopped doing remixes all 2gether.
I miss those.

I always respect your opinion. I thought Baby Boy Baby Girl wiped out their chance for most of the 18-24 audience. Not that Mint is targeting that crowd - but I think they could pick up some younger followers with Moan. I will have to go back and listen to Golddigger some more.

cool Thanks. It took me a while to catch on to baby boy
baby girl but once you pump it up on a good sound
system it sounds good. Mint sounds good performing it
live too. Moan should do well following the momentum
of nothing left to say.

Great song and one of my favs off E-Life, but I still think "Right Here" is their strongest song on the album (and arguably my fav) after "Nothing Left To Say".

Regardless, it's nice to see a good, strong, third single being released, unlike Living The Luxury Brown, Life's Aquarium and even Definition of A Band, which all only had TWO singles on each album.

Yeah the powers that be missed the ball on Life's Aquarium and Luxury
Brown. Both of those were my favorite albums and the strongest top to
bottom imo though i know most fans favor From the mint factory and
Definition of a band more. Definition of a band actually had a third
single Let me be the One but the single never caught on at radio.

Yeah I know, but I don't really consider "Let Me Be The One" as a single. Yeah it has two radio remixes (one with Q-Tip, and one with Phife Dawg) and the album version, where all three versions got minimal radio play. And it was the follow up track after "What Kind of Man..." (whereas when someone would let the cd/cassette of DOAB play after the lead hit single, the song right after which was just as good would sometimes get a lot pf play.) on the album, but I don't think it was necessarily a "single". You could say the same thing for "The Never That You'll Never Know" which got the same amount, if not more radio play, which I also remember hearing on the radio back in early 1997.

Oh, and my favorite MC album would be FTMF.
