I'm surprised that with all the money that the Jacksons had, Latoya could have afforded all the best vocal coaches in the world, if she really wanted to be taken seriously in the music industry.

As far as Janet is concerned- she had great songs and a good enough voice to get herself through the music world. She isn't the greatest singer either, but she can dance, sing decently enough, get a couple of great producers, and make likeable music- and that's how she succeeded
