saw Peter Gabriel recently in concert - and have been listening to his "new " album ...

damn , makes me like Prince more again ...

it took Mr Gabriel like 8 yrs to make what essentially is an "unbearable-to-listen-to" cd ... what the f___ ...

what has he been doing !!??... in the concert booklet - it argues that he has been sooo busy ... ok ... he did a soundtrack to a movie ... and it says he recorded enough material to release another album very soon ... but ... the album he released is so ... well ... like i said ... unlistenable ... very disappointing ...

a great example of an "artist" who tries to be sooo deep ... but throws up darts ... every 10 years ... reminds me of that michael jackson guy ... he he ...

at least Prince works ... and works with a diverse crowd of musicians ... and keeps it fresh ... etc ... enuf said ...

At least Prince is not holed up in a studio working with a whole load of apes and monkeys trying 2 get them 2 make music!! Whatever next???
Eye really love Peter Gabriels old music and eye 2 brought Up, but eye cant bring myself 2 play it more than once!!

I kind of like that Barry Williams song, the only one I've heard of the new stuff.

is the first song off the new album ... the "most unlistenable song " ever !!?? ... well , "ever" might be a strong term ...

i do agree that the "barry williams show" song is ... listenable ... but all in all ... i cannot believe that it took him this long ... to put the album out ... and this is what his fans get !!??
