Legally, she's still unable to defend herself in court or provide food & shelter for herself yet she can tour the world? Anyway, just look at her performances, she's still very out of it and should not be on stage. But money talks so here she is. Finally, some common sense. This woman, even at her best, has no place on a stage. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

She's not a "fool" for letting fear take over, sometimes you can't control it. First off, I want to say that I love your siggy...high-five on that. True, everyone reacts differently to fear...most people at least try to run from the scary thing, but I guess her reaction to fear is just stand there and scream and whatever happens happens...personally, I would have at least kicked dude in the knee or nuts (whichever was closest to me at the time) and ran, but that's just me. How do you know that I haven't had a trying life? A few years ago, on more than one occasion, I was sitting on the bathroom floor with a razor to my wrist ready to be done with the stresses of life, but told myself it's not worth the risk that I may end up in hell for committing suicide (my own personal belief). Hell, I've even considered checking myself into a mental hospital more than once. I've met lots of people who have had to endure just as many trials and tribulations as she has without the luxury of millions of dollars to fall back on and any real help other than their own willpower. The story this one lady told me about her life was soo tragic that she's the reason I now refuse to allow anyone to destroy me, including myself. She had everything stolen away from her: her mother, siblings, father, children, health, and self-respect..she'd been raped and beaten by boyfriends and her own step-mother multiple times before she was 18; yet she smiled and held her head high everytime I saw her. She remains an icon of true strength and determination to me and she's not famous. When I was a child, my mother told me that, "You were born by yourself and you're going to die by yourself, so take care of yourself always." That's my life philosophy because it's true; and it has kept me from the severe depression that my mom struggled with during my teen years. I have vivid memories of visiting her in mental facilities many times as a teenager, so Britney's plunge into insanity isn't anyting I haven't seen. Mental illness runs in my family and there's not a day that goes by that I don't fear that I'll suffer from severe depression and/or schizophrenia at some point, because mental illness is often hereditary. So, before you go around and say that Britney's life is more tragic than anybody else just because she's a celebrity who chooses to continue to live in the public eye, know that a hard life isn't soley defined by a lack of privacy and harsh public scrutiny. There are regular people in this world who have it waay worse than she ever will and that's a fact. There you go again
I'd really like to know how Britney acts like a diva because I've never seen that. I see it in those others you mentioned for sure, but Britney? All she does now is cry and read off a script. I don't know why you keep coming into Britney threads if you think she doesn't deserve any attention. Aren't you giving her the attention you so desperately want her to NOT have by putting your time towards writing posts about her? Most famous people are divas. She had a tanning bed on her tour bus at one point, which is crazy to me, because isn't all that tanning bad for you? I realize she had the money and star power to ask for whatever she wanted, but she was taking $3000/hr private jets to get fucking coffee at her favorite coffee shop in LA a few years ago because the chain wasn't in her hometown and she really wanted that specific type of coffee. What's wrong with a cup of coffee from the 7-eleven or Folgers? That must have been some damn good coffee. She's done some diva shit in her day...nowhere near as bad as J. Lo or Mariah, but she's done it. Some may not see a problem with it because she's got lots of money and can do whatever she wants, so more power to her, but any artist whose backstage roster has more than water and a snack tray on it, is diving into diva terrain IMO. What the hell do you need all of that excessive shit for in a dressing room that you will barely be occupying for less than 4 hours and will probably barely have time to enjoy anyway? If this was an actual Britney Spears fan forum or her website, than I'd see your point, but this is an open forum in which anyone, fan or non-fan, can comment on whatever topic they choose. I can name Orgers who will constantly post comments on artists they absolutely hate all the time on this board; please make sure to shower them with your attention so they can feel just as special as I do. I've seen you post in Christina Aguilera threads more than once and I know you don't like her, but I really don't care because you can say whatever you want about her because that's your opinion and your right. Giving a celebrity attention only matters to them if they are getting paid and since she doesn't own the .org, me talking about her is no different from me going into the general discussion and talking about my favorite types of cheeses. She's just another topic to discuss to pass the time. She WANTED to do that. She TRIED. That's why she cut her SuperStar team out of her life and went about creating her own little album (that Jive readily banished as soon as they could). She's ALWAYS talking about wanting to tone down her career, go live somewhere quiet and just sing and write slow songs for the rest of her life.
It's her TEAM, addicted to money and big fame, that keep forcing her into these things. And now, with the conservatorship as restricting on her basic rights as it is, she has no way of protesting. Learn your facts There's an interview that she did when she was pregnant with her second son and the interviewer asked her what she planned on doing with her career after the baby was born and her response was, "I don't know...I don't know". She had accomplished pretty much all of her goals before she turned 21, so I can totally understand where she was coming from...I completed 90% of my goals by the time I was 24 and was confused as to what to do for a while there myself. She still has the chance to live her life the way she wants to, but she has to really fight for it and steadfastly stand up for herself. If some people see for one moment that they can control you and walk all over you, they will...that's a part of life whether you're Britney Spears or Becky Sue Jenkins from Sandusky, Ohio. Madonna really isn't anymore talented than Britney, but nobody controls her and tells her what to do because she doesn't allow it to happen and her career has thrived for over 20 years now. The only fact I see is that you like to defend Britney because you love her, which is your right to do so, but I don't defend people who have a hand at bringing themselves down. She's not innocent and many of her problems she actually brought on herself by making poor decisions even when people around her tried to talk some sense into her. Madonna and Donald Trump made public statements about how she definitely needed to have K-Fed sign a pre-nup because initially she didn't want one. They say love is blind, but in her case, it was deaf and dumb too and in the end all those people were right and now she's the one who has to deal with the aftermath of poor decisions that could have really been avoided. That's fine but it doesn't mean you should judge someone based on how they reacted BECAUSE we all react differently. How do you know that I haven't had a trying life? A few years ago, on more than one occasion, I was sitting on the bathroom floor with a razor to my wrist ready to be done with the stresses of life, but told myself it's not worth the risk that I may end up in hell for committing suicide (my own personal belief). There's one big difference - the world didn't see your breakdown. Everything of Britney's, we know about. That HAS to weigh on her. That, to me, is where the nervousness and fear comes from in her. "Oh god, these people have seen me lose my kids, mind, hair, underwear..." I've met lots of people who have had to endure just as many trials and tribulations as she has without the luxury of millions of dollars to fall back on and any real help other than their own willpower. Why do you associate money with luxury? All it's done is make slimy people rabid enough to get into her life and take it from her in any way they can. She wasn't exactly using it all during her break down, she was shopping at gas stations and Target. Anyway, I don't know how many celebs have to say "money doesn't equal happiness" before people understand, problems start with people and end with people. Your bias is from Britney's fame. You don't see her as a human, you see her as a thing. A celebrity. Unfortunately, everyone in her life sees her the exact same way as you. Something to use for their full benefit whether it be to get money or fame from being associated with her, or to tear her down when she does something "wrong" in front of the world. Britney's had it just as hard as anyone else, if not harder because the world has seen everything. She doesn't even have the dignity of privacy and she has to deal with everyone judging her for the rest of her life. What amount of money could cure having the world see you bash a car with an umbrella after shaving your head? No one cares that she bashed the car because she couldn't see her kids...BRITNEY BASHED A CAR WITH AN UMBRELLA WHILE BALD! LOL @ HER! SHE'S A CRAZY BITCH! Everyone goes through hell, not everyone goes through hell in front of the world. The worst someone can say is say "You have [blank] therefore your [blank] wasn't as bad as my [blank]" That's just cruel. Your lack of sympathy is odd, then.
See? More bias. She does not "choose" to live in the public eye. Photographers literally LIVE outside her house, or in hotels nearby. They rent out the houses next door. They fly helicopters over her house and photograph her in her pool with her sons. In her documentary she stated over and over and over that she wanted to live elsewhere, anywhere but L.A. She stated she wished she could live on a deserted island where "no one can reach me". She wished she could live in New York, where the media isn't as bad. But the reality is she CAN'T. Her custody arrangements mean she has to stay whereever Kevin is (he's on tour with her too, to keep the custody arrangements going as normal). How is she choosing anything in her life when, legally, she has no rights whatsoever? She has to ask to DRIVE HERSELF and isn't allowed to date and all her cell phone use is monitored. This woman is NOT free, she's not some freeloading diva doing as she pleases. She's controlled, restricted and medicated. I have a buddy who works as a showbiz reporter and he said her father won't even allow interviews with her record label much less Britney herself. The reason for such restriction is obvious, she DID go insane. She was a risk and she was very unhealthy mentally. What I can't stand is people seeing her on stage and making a quick judgement on her health based on whether she looks nice or not. She looks ugly = "she must still be insane". She looks pretty = "she must be well now and deserves any critcism she gets". Wrong. There are not people who have it worse, there are people that have it AS BAD as her, we just don't know all about them. And they're probably allowed to drive themselves. (I could go on about the problems I have with restricting her so much then sending her on stage or banning her from all driving instead of getting her lessons but I won't).
