Fan scares living daylights out of Britney on stage The poor thing :
2:13 The fan was put in jail but bailed out on $250. He said he was drunk at the time and just wanted to dance with her. Hopefully whoever was on security that night is fired, he could've done anything to her.

[Edited 5/4/09 6:46am] I think she's just saying "OMG OMG GO AWAY GO AWAY NOW" And if you're surprised at lip syncing, welcome to 1999! I think it would've been worse if she HAD had her mic on, with all the screaming

A lot of people have said security was minimal at all the shows. I've read some fans saying how easy it would've been for them to climb on stage but they were respectful enough not to.

That is one of the most successful tours of the decade?
Oh lord! She aint even dancing to justify lip syncing. Get knocked up, get fat, shave your hair, have a nervous breakdown - and everything you touch goes to gold.

Where the hell is security?
..Someone's gettin fired.

Well if anyone was still wondering if she still lip-synchs in concert, it was surely proven with that clip. I didn't hear her yell or anything like it. Security sure sucks for that guy to have been able to go up on stage like that. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Oh my god. People we know she lip-synchs. We've known since 99, WE KNOW, WE KNOW, WE KNOW, WE KNOW, WE KNOW...

Entertainers have to be careful about what your "promote", and "project". You will get what you asked for..and more. At least, she is OK. Nobody is hurt. YHWH is Elohim and Yahoshua is King [Edited 5/4/09 9:32am]

He seems like that gay blond boy who was crying under the sheet over her on Youtube?
The way he brushed his hair back was feminine.. One of her "Femi-Cops" took him away.. I'm surprised that he wasn't stomped.. [Edited 5/4/09 9:31am] [Edited 5/4/09 9:35am]

I love how blatantly obvious it is from the audio in this clip that she's not actually singing.
Who pays that much dough to watch a lipsyncher? A fool and his money, they say.....Seriously, you could pay 5 bucks to see some drag queen calling herself Titney do the exact same thing at your local gay bar. Shame on her security though. How'd the dude get as far as the center stage anyway? "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

And yet you're willing to pay for it..... People don't go to Britney's shows to hear her hit the high note. They've known for years that she lipsynchs. If people are willing to pay for it why is it a concern to you?

Or it could be someone you've seen in the past. I have seen: Bowie. One hell of a show! Even without the opening act, The Dame did 3 hours without a break, played a good variety of songs spanning his career, and he was all chipper and chatty with the audience between songs. And he cried a bit when he did Under Pressure in tribute to Freddie Mercury. Bless. Dr. Hook. It's really just Ray and a hired band these days, but still. He didn't go on 'til midnight when he was scheduled to start at 9, but it was a club gig so IMO that's acceptable. The guy's 800 years old and he can still rock out. Kudos. The Stones. Though I would agree they're past their prime, it was still a great show. It was done recently after they got back on the road after Keith fell out of that tree and required emergency surgery. When Mick did the band introductions, Keef got a standing ovation that lasted damn near 2 minutes. My only real complaint about the show would be that Charlie (the drummer) didn't appear to be paying attention and so his drumming was off occasionally. The Arrogant Worms. They're a Canadian musical comedy act. Hilarious, without being raunchy. Not that I have a problem with dirty jokes but it's refreshing to hear genuinely funny stuff that would be okay for a kid, even if the kid doesn't necessarily get it. Very big on audience participation and sing-alongs when they do a show. The opening act the second time I saw them specialized in cartoon theme songs played in a jazzy style. Their Spiderman theme is the shit. Good times all around at a Worms show. Weird Al. More comedic music, I know. Puts on a surprisingly good show though, with costumes and videos accompanying the music. Doesn't engage the audience a whole lot though, or at least didn't when I saw him. NIN. SHOULD have been a good show, but wasn't. The band just phoned the show in and clearly didn't give a shit about putting on a good performance. Waste of money. And since this is a thread devoted to a pop performer, I've also seen Backstreet Boys. Three times. They talk to and engage the crowd and appear to have real fun with what they're doing onstage -to the point of occasionally having trouble maintaining a PG rating. "Who wants to see AJ's new tattoo?" They don't use as much choreography as they used to, but when they do dance they give it their all. They always sing live, and they always use a live band AND make a point of introducing their musicians to the crowd by name. They have horrendous taste in opening acts though. There's nothing wrong with seeing a pop act in concert if that's how you wanna roll. Hell, I've done it three times. I've got no shame. But I can't understand paying as much money as a concert ticket costs to see someone not sing and barely dance. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Well, I gotta say...Brit doesn't look too bad in that outfit. I'd go up and dance with her. And since she's syncin' (shocker!), she'll be free to put her lips elsewhere.. • Did you first think Prince was gay? •
Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

I would guess that most of the concert-goers are young white, asian, and latino women who grew-up with her since 1998-99. They're about 19-28..
She's represents them, and they caught in the celebrity/ Cult of Personality thing. Give 'em another few years.. They will grow out of it. It reminds me of a lyric by Jewel: "People living their lives for you on tv They say they're better than you, and you agree.." YHWH is Elohim, and Yahoshua is King.
