I only have one question... WHY? It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

She probably should have stuck with jazze pha. He gave her
an identity and a signature sound. Now she is all over the place. The collaboration with TPain was her worse and the one with young jeezy isn't that far behind. Don't laugh at my funk

I think Ciara is trying too hard and everything she does seem to be short-lived. For some reason it seems like a competition thing between her and Beyonce..as who could "outsex" the other with their gyrating dance moves. When they get older, no one will want to see them gyrating, so they both better start moving towards another career right now, as backup. So far Beyonce is doing commercials and movies, so she's not stuck in one market. Ciara does collaborations, because what choice does she have? There is nothing original about Ciara at all, fashionwise or musically that makes her stand out. Her looks will only get her over but for so long.
At least Beyonce has her "own" image, although I feel she is overexposed. [Edited 5/5/09 12:36pm]

I feel Ciara doesnt KNOW her sound. She definitley lived that up on The Evolution, however she lost control. Her new electro sound is gone and now she is kinda stuck in a mode...it will flop I suspect, until the next album...i think she will get it back. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

This may be the most generic cd of all time. That's my problem with it. I feel like I've already heard it.

It must suck to be a young artist today...having to sit back and accept the crappy tunes that today's "producers" give to her. It's not like she has the type of artistic control and superstar power where she could say "This song is shit...I ain't singing this garbage!"

All she needs is better producers making more timeless music as she gets older. Cici has to keep dancing till she can't dance no more.

Like Monica on her reality show? I saw how much control they had just watching O Town struggle to make their own music. Donnie Klang from Making The Band 4 series also got yelled at and almost dropped for even asking. But eventually Puffy gave it to him...so maybe his next album will be good but it will fall on him this time. I dont kniow if Ciara writes anything on her albums or not. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

She wrote quite a bit on the Evolution. I thought she was writing alot for this one too along with co-producing. Check her on SNL with JT this Sat. Listening to the samples..it dont sound that bad....lots of synths and there is a nice amount of uptempo / midtempo cuts...but I dont hear no type of electro or dance tracks like Get In Fit In / I Proceed or Bang It Up....it sounds better than the first album.
