"Push, push in the bush...push,push in the bush...you know I want to get down!!"

I was about 8 years old when that song came out,and I had NO idea what they were talking about...lol...I would go around singing the hook, and my parents were like "What are you talking about? Who taught you how to say that?"

It's still one of my favorite Disco songs. The percussion is fierce. It's one of those jams that could leave you delirious on the dance floor.

France Joli

I was listening to the '54' soundtrack (Volume 2) yesterday and France Joli's 1979 hit "Come To Me" is included. That's a cool song, but what other songs did she sing? Was she a one-hit wonder? I don't recall anything else by her.

I got some of James "D-Train" Williams stuff on this record label. I think his hit single "Keep On" is one of the absolute BEST JAMS OF THE 80's. I thought that brother was going to have a long career. He has a great voice.

playboy
heart to break the heart
Come to me
Gonna get over you
Dont Stop Dancin'

Basically everything on Joli's debut album from 78 turned up as a 12'' on Prelude
