brilliant album, interesting band that takes chances, and very good song.

absolutely phenomenal song. the last 3 months or so i've been listening
to the entire album non-stop. at home, in the car, anywhere really.

and out of all the great songs on there this is probably my favourite.
the "denial"'s in the second part are so haunting it's baffling.

only thing i can think of to compare it to is yet another track by them
"how to disappear completely".

easily one of the very best songs of the new millennium up until now.

I've loved this song since it first started appearing on the tours a few years ago. Radiohead are masters at creating fantastic, haunting "ballad" type songs.

Not only is this album amazing, but the sessions as a whole created a collection of brilliant songs. I think the second, bonus disc is just as good, with some songs being superior to the first disc songs.

I still haven't properly introduced myself to this album. boxed

I've listened to it of course, but I haven't yet had the time and space for me to be alone with it to digest it properly.

Again, I would highly recommend finding the bonus disc if you didn't get the box set.

it's good but it sounds like something is missing from it. plus it
doesn't last long enough, lol.

when i first heard a few live versions of this one i wanted it to be
on the album more than any of the other tracks. it's a gorgeous song
but it feels like something is missing from it. perhaps they stripped
it too bare. i don't know. plus it could last a minute longer imo.
the intro alone takes up more than 1/3 of the song. still, i shouldn't
complain, at least they released it. yay.

I have to say that I didn't get into the 2nd disc. But the album itself (disc 1) is a masterpiece.

...I'll eventually give the other disc another bash though.

Yeah, I remember the live version having a beautiful melody.. this one is very basic.. not much going on in it.

I agree...the intro is to long, the song is too short, and I wish they'd kept more of the melody from the live version. But there's something about the core of it that keeps me coming back. I think I like the simplicity of it. But then again, I've always tended to lean more towards Radioheads softer, ballady, spooky songs. Pyramid Song, Exit Music, How to Disappear, Sail to the Moon, Nude, and especially House of Cards.

Pyramid song. Is there a song more perfect? cry This is why I feel this band deserves respect because even though it's cloaked in hauntedness they are straight up playing jazz in that song clapping

yep.. Amnesiac is one of my favorite albums of theirs.. it's just too damn weird and perfect.. somehow everything fits, when it actually wasn't supposed to.

I never felt the "challenge" of amnesiac. to me it's quite a fluid album and I love it too nod

I think is a little bit cliche and quite depressing, but I give them props for taking chances, probably one of their best songs, still they are turning into a cartoon of thmemselves.
