I like the unplugged series nod

I really liked The Cure and Nirvana unplugged :excited fart love boff

But truth be told, I was sufficiently awed by Prince's acoustic live set during his Musicology multi-cast that I really think he could do something special on a revived 'unplugged'. He really connects well to his audience, and the vibe they bounce off each other was noticeable during the performance. Through it all, he didn't appear to break a sweat. If that could translate into an entire unplugged show, Prince could be the act all others would try and beat. IMO

MTV and VH1 have been trying to get him to do something for YEARS but you know how that nut is. rolleyes

He really should consider it. It would make up for his terrible American Idol performance. lol

For the past 12 years the industry turned their back on real musicians, but the tides (and the economny) have encouraged a switch back to reality.

Whoa whoa whoa...let's not get crazy, now. Remember after 9/11 how people (both regular and of the celebrity ilk) were saying they were done worrying about superflous, ridiculous things such as reality TV and vapid celebutards - famous for absolutely nothing? How did that work out?
• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

I'm surprised Palladia doesn't replay more Unplugged shows than they do. I'd LOVE to see Maxwell's again.

I used to make love with my now-ex to that unplugged CD of his. Wasn't purposeful (as in we put the CD on and did it). It just kind of always seemed to be on while we were in the ten-toes-going-up-ten-toes-going-down mode. tonk
