This is one of the more interesting stories I have come across recently and I have no opinion of her one way or another. I wonder how many other stars do this?




Beyonce skives off Vienna art museum tour

VIENNA (AFP) – US pop star Beyonce has angered a high-brow art museum in Vienna by sending a look-a-like to her own special personal tour of the museum, while she went shopping, according to newspaper reports here Wednesday.

Tabloid dailies Oesterreich and Heute said the R&B diva had been due to visit the Albertina, one of the Austrian capital's most famous museums which attracts around one million visitors each year.

Recent visitors include Hollywood stars such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Nicolas Cage.

But Beyonce, who gave a concert in Vienna on Tuesday, decided to skive off and do some shopping instead, sending a look-a-like to the museum and be photographed with Albertina director, Klaus Albrecht Schroeder, according to the reports.

The museum was understandably put out and said it would protest to the star's management.

"What a cheek," Albertina spokeswoman Verena Dahlitz told the Austrian news agency APA.

"We were a little doubtful yesterday, but weren't really sure. It could have been her," Dahlitz said, adding that fans were apparently duped, too.

Beyonce's concert in Vienna met with very mixed reviews and was only half-full, according to Oesterreich.

That's hilarious if it's true. Was she somehow obliged to go to that place? Maybe she could also use the lookalike when she wants to be seen as a person who would also read a book or something.

How anyone would think that that is Beyonce is beyond me! Apparantly an austrian radio channel was thinking they were being funny with sending someone to that museum and make people believe it's Beyonce!

The guy who got fooled also isn't really angry... he doesn't really care about pop stars and so he's fine with it... free publicity for his museum I guess!

But like this stupid rumours get started... like Beyonce would actually send doubles.... where would be the point in that anyway?? Or people thinking that MJ sends doubles to do things for him!

I have been to the Albertina myself some months ago when the Van Gogh exhibition was there and I can hardly believe that no one there would have realized that just cannot be Beyonce . Beyonce is one of the American artists who are also really well known here as well after all.

That does not resemble her in any way. The first sign would be that Beyonce could never squeeze into such a small outfit she's much more voluptious then that and the face is completely off.

She does not look like Beyonce at all. But that would be clever of Beyonce so she could have some personal time without the fans.

It was a prank by a radio station there.
