Sorry, did not like his version of "Fragile". I loved his other stuff though.

The 19 minutes of "Do Your Thang" is mind-blowing!

Yeah i love it from beginning to end. It's very dark
at the end though. I used to always listen to my dad's
shaft album when i was a little boy. I like how it
ends and then segues into the theme from shaft reprise.
Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

Right. nod

I felt like I had fallen into psychedelia when the drums, guitar and horns clicked and, of course, when the Bar-Kays chanted "DO YOUR THANG!!!! DO MY THANG!!!!" lol Not to mention the guitar reverb end before it segues into the "Shaft" reprise. nod

When I listen to Issac I think of barbecues, juke joints, Ford T-Birds, LTD's, Caddilacs, Johnny Walker, Jack Daniels, and Jim Beam. Whereas with Sting I think of oxygen bars, buddisim, yoga, deserts, mountians, european nightlife and hackey sacks. lol

To me, Isaac resembles some light in a dark alley that comes out of nowhere and brings shine to darkness, lol. Yeah I know it's weird but his reinterpretations of pop songs was revolutionary, it takes you to places the original don't dare try to reach.
