Michael Jackson - rehearsals not going so well http://www.examiner.com/e...rehearsals
Rehearsals are not going so smoothly for the self-titled "King of Pop." A source has revealed that Mr. Jackson has fallen several times during rehearsals trying to do the dance moves that he used to. "Michael doesn't realize that he is over 50 now and doing the same dance moves that he did in his 20s is going to be very difficult." One of the mishaps happened as he tried to recreate his famous Billy Jean performance from 1983. Back then, he was able to do the moonwalk very smoothly. This week, he has twisted his ankle twice. "He is substituting a lot of special effects to make up for his fading talents," the source continues. In one particular performance, Mr. Jackson goes through a cloning machine. In another, he disses whom he considers villains, including Madonna and Tom Sneddon, while praising "good people" such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Michael Jackson has scheduled 50 dates so far. Whether he will make it through even half of them remains to be seen.

This shit is SO getting cancelled.....bank on it like you would bank on a D'angelo album getting pushed back "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

everyone gets injured when they're dancing, just like you to jump to conclusions! I busted a big toe one time and my knee another time. [Edited 4/26/09 16:03pm]

I wish that Michael would concentrate on his VOCALS and allow his younger dancers to do most of the strenuous dance moves.Let them carry the weight. Is it really that important to see a 50-year old man moonwalking across the stage?

[Edited 4/26/09 16:03pm] Im not talking about him getting injured, im talking about his "rep" his family's "rep", i wouldnt trust or believe anything that came out of anyone in that family at this point, sorry but they have worn out the "crying wolf" allowance. Actually i think it is, because the focus is gonna be on his dancing, thats what is gonna get critiqued up the ass by the media, so he either needs to do NO dancing at all and just sing, or do everything like he did then, which is near impossible, especially since its been so long since he's been on stage. and why does he consider Madonna a "villian"? It must be because she criticized him for dangling his baby outside that hotel window.

That's probably not the only reason. I think MJ is pissed at her because she has criticized him for his wardrobe, his style and a lot more things. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Probably something Perez Hilton or one of MJ's websites started, Perez is on a lieing ass role this week if its him "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

I guess I'm getting old because moonwalking doesn't "thrill" me in the least Let the dancers do that stuff...that's what they are there for! Michael should be more concerned with his vocals.Do we really wanna hear him all out of breath, trying to get through a ballad like "Human Nature"?

And what is gonna be the focus of 90% of the world...can he dance and how can he dance. And dont worry about him being out of breath for vocals, all the vocals, im sure will be pre - recorded ala Mariah Carey MIMI tour "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

it's just a rumor, and from what I've heard, the rumors have been going well He doesn't have a history of cancelling shows aside from that One Night Only concert in 95 [Edited 4/26/09 17:46pm] "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. As for the false things on the net....i thought we all knew that all these outlets for news were all false?? I'm sure he knows that and will play the shows. If he was that bad at cancelling, he would have put off MSG too, as doctors were advising him at the time to not do the shows, but he did them despite being in bad shape.

This stuff sound like total bullshit
Why the hell would he wanna diss Madonna Where did Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson come into all of this You think Michael would leak out anything regarding rehearsal to some undisclosed "source". [Edited 4/26/09 19:18pm]

What exactly is wrong with MJ? Is he ill? I am not understanding why he wouldn't be able to dance. Didn't James Brown dance well past 50?
