"Pretty Wings" isn't my favorite Max tune, but I'm digging it. I'm definitely pumped for this release.

People are getting a lot of flack for mentioning Max's haircut will turn off fans, but I don't think they're completely wrong. I personally know several women who've been downright distraught that dude has cut his hair. They say that he's always looked like a sort of sexy serial killer type, and now that the hair is gone he's less sexy and more serial killer. When I argue with them, they concede the music is, indeed, what really counts (and I hope they actually feel that), but I'd not be shocked to find out some folk all into packaging turn a could shoulder to him. It wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.

Totally agree. Much better on tour bass line was more pronounced and the horns were playing the melody instead of the guitar. Also was sped up a bit. The deluxe edition will have the life version I think...so best of both worlds right.

Thanks for the breakdown, I couldn't quite articulate what was different. Also, and it sounds minor but I liked on the tour the horn breakdown at the end without vocals. He just sort of bobbed along and let them go at it. He's singing over the horns on the single. Ah well.
