whatsgoingon said: Swa said: All this talk about Vitiligo or skin bleaching - I think it's funny that people are willing to jump to the extreme conclusion that he bleached his skin (and to do the whole body now - really???) and not to the possibility that he has vitiligo?
I remember Michael from the early 70s and if mj had vitiligo it would have been noticeable way before the late 80s. It would have been noticeable on his hands, his face etc. MJ got lighter too evenly, and I don't buy that he used makeup initially, why use makeup shades lighter than his original colour until his whole body turned white? Vitiligo rarely makes the whole body turn white so therefore he must have depigmentatize his skin. Now the vitiligo believers would say he depigmentize because of his vitiligo, but the fact of the matter is you can depigmentize without having vitiligo. It's foolish, dangerous and risky, but when you think aboutthe other things Michael has done to himself than nothiing is impossible.
Having been a fan for many years (oh and the fact I have been a fan doesn't automatically make me irrational or unable to see when the shit is being spun) but there was an obvious change and blotchiness in his skin from the 1979 period on. I have also done some extensive reading into the disease and from what I have read feel that this is most likely the true cause of Michael's drastic skin colour change. Is it possible that he used some skin bleaching creme to gain uniformity of tone? Yes, but you would think you would need to go through a whole vat of the stuff to have the same effect that vitilago has had. Swa As for the skin cancer, it maybe a rumour but I wouldn't be surprise if it were true. Agree with your statement - but to rule out the possibility that he has vitiligo is also just as bias. Here is an interesting clip on the topic on youtube Swa "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. I am love"

Karen Faye, Michael's makeup artist has said that they used the same color as his skin and the diease kept on getting more widespread. But hey,I guess michael has never acted black enough for you to even consider that maybe he has the diease. But hey he's lied bout how many nose jobs he's had so he must be lying about his diease. Have you even thought that Michael suffers from Body Dismorphic disorder? Hey, I would have low self esteem if my dad called me ugly and made fun of my big nose. If maybe the fact that he's 50 and had a severe accident that left 2nd degree burns on that scalp..maybe he's balding. But I guess it's not denying your ethinicity when you have many black women who have weaves and colored contacts. Or the fact that some white women will tan themselves pratically to death to acheieve that bronzed look. Maybe if michael hadn't of dated some white women then it would of been believable. Or maybe that he has done a lot for the black community that has gone unrecognized by the media. But whatever, i guess michael wanted to turn white when he became the most famous man on the planet. whatever you say lol.

Jacko's Kids Play Peek-A-Boo
Filed under: Michael Jackson Every day is Mardi Gras at Wacko Jacko's! Jackson's been carting his kids Prince Michael, Prince Michael II and Paris all over Los Angeles this past week, and the trio has yet to be seen sans masks! Yeah yeah, he wants to protect his kids from the media, yadda yadda yadda… We'd be mortified if we had to wear those masks 24/7! Prince Michael is already a teenager, for God's sake! There's the happy family out at a toy store on Friday. Say cheese! http://perezhilton.com/20...peek-a-boo

First off i was taking the piss at you deliberately missing the first part of the statement claiming both sides of the argument. And for you to call me disingenuous - i think you better check my stance before you label me that. You will see from my posts that I call MJ on the crap when it's needed. I just think its also disingenuous to only look at the negative within a story and not look at both sides. Swa I didn't claim to be presenting both sides of the argument. I made it clear I was highlighting what I considered to be relevant. My intention was not to get into another debate, but to point out why I wouldn't be surprised if the skin cancer story is true. MJ fans.... disingenuous as ever. Midnight mover, grow the hell up. Everytime, you come into a MJ discussion you always have bs to say and nothing to back to it up with. Don't generalize. Many fans have done our homework on Michael Jackson...ok so don't come in here acting all high and mighty. For you, "b.s." is basically anything you don't want to hear. And if you had an objective bone in your body you would have to admit that most of my posts are extremely logical. If MJ threads weren't such a haven for loons, that fact would not be in dispute. “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”

Vitiligo? Does anybody see Tito with any Vitiligo?
MJ's mind was messed up by James Fields who told him "The White Man will never let him be as big as Elvis." and possibly Jann Wenner who at one time wouldn't give him a cover on Rolling Stone because in his words "Blacks don't sell magazines." I doubt that's what caused him problems later. In my opinion, it was the pepsi accident. -The Pepsi Accident- it was a traumatic experience for him, especially since his hair caught on fire, and head was burned a lot. He might have felt very insecure about his own appearance, after this accident- leading to BDD or body dysmorphic disorder- when you think that there's something that doesn't look right about how you look. -The Pepsi accident might have also led to the possibility of how he got Vitiligo (if he does have it) http://www.mjs-smoothcrim...om/2.shtml Causes: Michael's doctor linked the burns to Michael's scalp (HEAD) in the Pepsi commercial as the catalyst in triggering the vitiligo. With all these these factors- it would cause a man to just lose it completely. [Edited 5/17/09 11:27am] [Edited 5/17/09 11:36am]
