Spending spree! Your recent music purchases? So, about a month ago, when Lotus Flow3r came out, I decided I was kind of sick of the crappy 128kbps quality that all of my music was in, since I pretty much just use the iPod. it's especially bad when you've got it hooked up to a docking station playing through speakers.
so, anyway, i decided I was going to re-rip all of my music to iTunes in 192kbps m4a's, since I'd bought a newer iPod and had the space to store it now. as i was beginning the project, i was immediately reminded that i didn't actually OWN that much music anymore as i started pulling my CD's out of storage. during some very lean years, i had sold most of my collection, barring a (very) few favorite acts to pay rent, eat, etc. and i downloaded a lot illegally. AND a lot of the stuff i've gotten into over the past 5 years or so was owned by someone i lived with, so i had access to it at that time that i originally put it on my iPod. and now i don't. well, anyway, now that i can afford it, i've decided that i want to own stuff again. this is the stuff i've bought in the last month, new or used, in record shops and retail chains, or online. so, hey RIAA, i'm making up for it....
