Lenny Kravitz vaulted to global fame with 1989's Let Love Rule, the '60s-flavored funk-rock debut he wrote, recorded and produced at age 25.

On April 21, the newly remastered twin-disc Let Love Rule (20th Anniversary Edition) arrives on Virgin/EMI.

The set features lavish extras, including 12 live tracks: My Flash on You and If 6 Were 9 from a 1989 Amsterdam show initially released as promos, and 10 songs (nine of them previously unreleased) recorded live in 1990 at The Paradise in Boston.

Kravitz produced the upgraded set, which also boasts B-sides Cold Turkey and Light Skin Girl From London, plus a newly unearthed rough mix of the title track and a 1987 demo of Fear, with lyrics by Lisa Bonet, his wife at the time. Kravitz embarks on a 55-city European tour April 17.

Lenny get picked on a lot call him "retro" and all but the man is a great musician and one of the last real next 2 Prince. I love "Mr Cab Driver", "Let Love", and "I Bulit This Garden For Us"

Would have been nice to have the 12" version of "Freedom Train" on there, but I'm not complaining really. This is good news.

Why is Light Skin Girl From London there? That's a B-side from the Mama Said era.
