Funny how when I was younger I did not appreciate songs like the Wind, Vanishing or even If It's Over until I reached about 21. Now I hate the 'rap' or b.s. Keyshia Cole sounding blacd r&b slow jam tunes that any other female artist could sing.

Mariah please stop feeding the KIDS! It's ok to be grown...look at how far Emancipation got you...you can do it again

Why when artists were younger back then, they chose grown material, they get a little gray in their hair, then they wanna be "hip-hop".

Because most artists in their 30-s to 40's go throught the "have to catch up phase". They feel they are not young and hip anymore and start being desperate to try to stay in' I think it is natural human nature. It happened to Prince, Janet (still happening), Michael, Mariah is going though it now. We just have to hang in there and see where it goes. I think once they reach that 45 - 50 mark they will give up and just be themselves.

E=MC 2 is exactly the kind of music Mariah wants to make at that time... all her "flops" are. That's the ironic part.

Very ironic. When she tries to do hip-hop, she falls, but when she does pop, she can still sell. Very weird, lol.

I think she needs to get it out of her system sometimes. I am guessing her next album is in the style that pays the bill for flying her private jet from Barbados. You hear about how Mariah has the worst environmental footprint?
