lollapalooza lineup...

just got my tix...so excited to get to chicago!

hahah! i'm psyched...the lesser known bands all have good buzz and, honestly, i'd go just for janes, beasties, and lou reed. smile

Are these all for Chicago? Or is this just the total lineup for the entire thing?

that's part of why these festivals are a great time...you get to keep up on the newcomers!

i'd be into seeing either group on their own, but the lineup this year doesn't make it worth it for me to go just for the beasties or DM. i'd rather just go to a beasties show or a DM show.

seeing them at a music festival here in MPLS. i TOTALLY wouldn't brave a weekend of lolla for just the decemberists, as much as i love them.

If I was in the area, I would go just for TOOL. They are my favorite rockband around right now. I go to about 20-30 different shows a year and they are the best rock live act you can see in my opinion. Their sound is just amazing. I have seen them 11x and have never been disappointed.I even got to see them and Prince on the same night, talk about a dream come true. I attended the TOOL show at the Palms Casino in Vegas and then drove across the street and caught Prince at 3121. Only in Vegas.
