If you're talking about the internet post where Chris allegedly claimed we didn't know the real Rihanna he's already gone on record as saying that was an imposter who created a fake account and he didn't say that at all.
In other news, though, Paul Mooney was on the radio recently and did the most politically incorrect diatribe on that situation that you can imagine: he said that everybody knows island women are jealous, are violent, and do.not.play. He said he's sure Rihanna was whoopin' Chris's ass for a while in this relationship before one day he finally hit her back. Having been friends a few island ladies myself I have to admit I sorta chuckled  .You better hope you don't ever get them mad, or that they get a hair or toe nail clipping from you | |

It's funny, many of her songs on GGGB fit this situation perfectly. It's like she made a soundtrack for her upcoming drama (listen to "Rehab," "Disturbia" or even "Umbrella").
The gossip was that they got into only one other time. She hit him and she pinned him against the wall. Then another time they argued and he broke out the windows of a car in Barbados (and paid for it) but there was nothing physical. Rihanna has co-writing credits on her debut, but yeah, not GGGB. She fought for the tracks she wanted though ("Disturbia" and "Umbrella," in particular) and seemed to have a clear idea of the direction for this CD (said it was influenced by Brandy's "Afrodisiac"). I don't think all of this was by some great design, of course, but I did notice that some of the songs mirror her situation.

She probably writes nothing onw her own, or from her own experiences.. Her producers probably work with some singer-songwriters in his camp to create the lyrics and concept. It's fast food Hip-Pop Production. The words, attitude, emotion of the song all belong to the writer... It's pre-packaged an re-sold to the highest bidder. These entertainers would love to tell you what they write. It's just ironic that the lyrics may match the situation. Even rihanna telling what direction she wants to go, isnt the same as writing the song, the words, the feeling. She did say she wanted more mature sound on this record....well the last time i checked EVERY SINGLE pop/rb singer says that on their second third album, especially when they dont write. Whoa whoa, Rihanna's album sold in droves BEFORE this scandal... you want act surprised when her follow-up sells well? First of all, "droves" is by todays standards. Second NO ONE on this forum seems to release what goes into projects, when you funnel tens of millions of dollars into a project and get about 1.8 million sold in the USA (off 2 editions) granted sales are much bigger worldwide, but so are the costs, at the end of the year a label has a balance sheet, it does not care about what you sold, it cares about what you brought in after they paid the bills and everyone got their money. Third this scandal is going to PUMPED into everything now, its a marketing tool, so anyone denying that everyone involved, media, Oprah,Chris Brown,Rihanna and label people are not going to MILK this shit, if anyone doesnt believe that, then you are lieing or just have no clue as to the way the business works now.
