I went to college with him. He was good friends with one of my roommates, Ty Taylor (Dakota Moon, Rock Star: INXS). Last time I saw him was when he performed his Ghetto Superstar musical at Joe's Pub here in NY. Fantastic voice. | |

Billy Porter has the most gifted voice out there. If you ever get the chance to see him live,Go. I was at his 1st show from his 2nd album recorded live. I have since seen him several times. I meet him in Philly in 2007 at his stage play Being Alive. I went to his show in New York in 2008 and he remembered me from the Philly show. We talked for awhile. He is so personable. Billy Porter is the Man. | |
