Damn, this DOES sound like Prince's "Something in the Water". PDiddy, you need to quit being a bitchass (a word you seem to like to use), and come up with something more original. no no no! lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I have a few friends in the industry, they say that he really does not know much about the production side of things or how to really put rhymes and beats together. He has his people to do that for him, that he pays well. I still can't stand the turd though.

lol I can't stand him either. ill

What's funny is,he's all enthusiastic, dancing all crazy as if HE himself just created some amazing masterpiece lol I bet he paid somebody else to program that beat, lol. It doesn't appear that he does a whole lot on his recordings, even though he's listed as producer.

People forget that these samples tend to get cleared, and that that the likes of Puffy and Kanye have the budgets to clear any sample they want, because these records pay for themselves in their cases.

Unless they purchased that Prince instrumental sample packet for 700 dollars circa 13+ years ago. I do wonder what the authorization process is. IF this is the case.

btw I concur with your post lol

Yeah, when I heard this music,I was thinking of that $700 sampling set that Prince released many years ago.I wonder if that's where P.Diddy got these beats from? hmmm These beats sound like outtakes from Prince's '1999' album sessions.

Prince can't stop them, and he probably cleared nothing.

They're trying to find their way around it.

They want the track to be reminiscent of SNTWDNC, but not be it.

The keyboard-chords are similar, but not the same.

SNTWDNC has no "stick/rimshot"..

I doubt that Puffy's producer is using Linn drum samples..

Anyone can use them (if the have them) anyway..
