AC/DC @ 02

Wow is all i can say. I went to the 02 thursday to see them and it was sooo crazy and outta this world. First time i've seen them and im hooked. Angus doing a jaw dropping 15 - 20 minute solo on 'Let There Be Rock' was crazy. Was anyone else there on here?

I was not there, but I did see them in Oakland,CA last December and they were great. The set list was incredible and Angus is still so full of energy.

I was at the Oakland show. It was my fifth AC/DC concert and not much different from the first one I saw. That is to say, it was great, for straight up rock.

Saw them in 91 on 'The Razor's Edge' tour. Pretty amazing.

Did they do the cannon thing in 'For those about to Rock'?

I'm considering going to their August show here. The only reason I'm not 100% sold on attending is because they're playing a stadium gig, and I swore those off years ago. I've never seen them, though, and you have to think this is going to be their last go-around. If I do decide to go, I'll be paying a premium - apparently all 41 thousand tickets sold out in 1/2 an hour.

If anyone can do a stadium justice it's AC/DC. Just imagine hearing the opening chords to 'Highway to Hell' that LOUD! biggrin

I've currently got an AC/DC calendar on sale if anybody's interested. Features photos of Bonn Scott as well:

Sorry, I'm only shipping to Australia, but check it out anyway if you're interested.

I REALLY wanted to go but money is tight right now and it sold out fast.

What did you think of the support act, The Answer?

The Answer also opened for ACDC in Oakland,CA. I was blown away by them. I went and bought there EP the next day. They really have a cool old school vibe to them. I dig that dudes voice.

YAY. I saw them supporting Aerosmith 2 years ago and just saw them in a small venue in London a few months ago. I love them and am really pleased all the big name acts are letting them on as support.

I also liked The Answer. Definitely throw-backs, but in a good way.

saw them in Birmingham (the UK one, not the Alabama one biggrin) last month.

F*cking AMAZING.

One of my favourite bands, waited a long time to see them - and it was worth the wait.
