My mother called me at 5 O'clock in the morning and on told me to turn on my TV. With in three seconds of Ms. Boyle opening her mouth to sing, I was left speechless. Got admit, got a little teary eyed. I hope Ms. Boyle able to parlay this into a singing/recording career. We've been denied the privilege in hearing a beautiful voice.... from a special lady.

I watched the clip on Perez, I was fucking CLAPPING sitting here @ my computer I'm not gonna lie, I was like "whaaa?" when she first came out. But I love the fact that she shut everyone who laughed @ her the HELL UP when she opened her mouth to sing. It was beautiful in every sense of the word, I'm so fucking happy for that woman! & I hope someone snatches her up & her dreams do come true. I was floored

I must be the only person left in the world that thinks these people are ten-a-penny. I mean seriously, what is she going 2 do? She's gonna release a standard CD full of standard covers of standard songs and a few months later it's selling at 50p a go in a bargain bucket at Asda. No thanks.

She probably taught some of those record executives out there who may have watched the show a lesson. You can sign up the cuties that can't sing, but it gets old after awhile and quality counts.

i gaurantee she could never create a song i would be caught dancing to

singing ability and songwriting ability dont always go hand in hand

hello??? she was singing from les mis... i doubt she wants to have a record that any of us would buy or dance to she wants to sing!!
because of her balls to get up there and try she will get a vocal coach and will hopefully end up in musicals or wherever else she wants to go.

If she'd sounded terrible, there'd be a thread here ridiculing her hair, looks, weight, attitude, voice, everything.

We're all just thanking our lucky stars she sounded good because it will overshadow the fact that EVERYONE who watches this video was ready to hate based on looks.

She's the quintessential "cat lady" in appearance but her voice was amazing.
