Ellis, it's so funny that you say that. I was watching the awards last night as well and it was such B.S. me and my friend were too busy just deconstructing every celebrity that stepped foot onstage and the whole event itself. We end up turning the T.V. off before the show was even over and went on to do other things. Most of the audience looked like they were bored their d* self.

The Billboard awards have only recently been televised... I think this is like the 5th year they've been on tv. Prior 2 that, u could only read about them after the fact. (of course I could b wrong!!!) The awards r based on sales... the winner is pretty much aware that they r winning way prior 2 the show, as everyone in the industry pretty much uses Billboard Magazine as their bible. The show itself is just a pat on the back... no surprises, no excitement. It's nice 2 see the performers, but that's about it. I didn't even realize it was on, flipped thru some channels, saw the rap show... said, "ooh it's the BMA's". Their was nothin' else on, so... I ended up watching the rest of it. I do enjoy the Grammys and the American Music Awards, the Oscars and Emmys 2... so y'know... whaddya gonna do. (fucking mother fucking cock sucking dick licking cum swallowing edits!!!) I am curious how many special awards have been made exclusively for Micheal Jackson. It seems live every year the awards shows give him a special award. He is very talented, but if these are bona fide awards shouldn't other people be entitled to them from time to time?

The award MJ receive was recognition of the 20th anniversary of Thriller.
But naturally with all of MJ's recent, stupid publicity stunts, it was anti-climatic. Actually, MJ is just one anti-climatic event after another these days.

i don't have anything against michael, but that segment did seem like an awkward moment... it seemed like it was supposed to make people not think of michael jackson as wierd, by having him just hang out with chris tucker and make it look unscripted and everything... but in the end, they both just looked very uncomfortable to me... Candy Dulfer is my boo...

I agree it did seem odd. It seems this sort of thing always happens as some type of damage control for him.
My boyfriend says that Michaels management buys these awards for him or insists that they are presented. I do think he's talented, but I think there is something phony about a new exclusive award on every award show.
