There is a bunch of songs that I've misheard the lyrics to in the past,
but this one stands out of the bunch:
This song was a local hit in 1985... For some reason I thought the guy was saying "erections-erections-erections.." in the pre-chorus part where he actually says "got to look into all directions-rections-rections.."



Anyone else who has misheard lyrics to a song? Post it here!

There was a song called "The Glory Of Love, by Peter Cetera.

There is a part in the song that goes, "You keep me standing, you help me through it all....I'm always strong when you're beside me..."

I always thought he sang, "I'm always STONED when you're beside me..." Needless to say, I was embarrassed when I saw the actual lyrics.

I didn't mis-hear the lyrics but I used to think the song Horse With No Name was really about a horse.

I've heard a couple of other interpretations, but the general consensus is that it's about a heroin trip. I didn't know that till last year.

Well, it makes sense that it might have have about heroin. Heroin's other name is horse and if you remember the song, "White Horse", by Relax it makes sense.
