I have NO CLUE why this wasnt the next track right after Always Be My Baby.

Anyway I Feel It is probably her 3rd best non-album tune. I love the sweet mmelody behind it. I 4get the sample they used but I think they didnt use it because they could not get a sample clearance...or was it her and the producer had a bad falling out?

There Goes My Heart by 7arelius should have been on Charmbracelet right after Subtle Invitation

Where did you find this track? It's so soulful and should have been on the Charmbracelet album in the first place. music I always thought this was the type of music that Mariah was capable of doing well, yet she's being pushed by wack ass producers to either put of crappy hip-hip tracks with an occasional big torch ballad or two to appeal to the pop crowd. She's got the voice to be a great soul singer, but it's getting buried instead. rolleyes

I found out about this tune a couple of years ago. It's a great song but never would have made it as a single. The most she could have hoped for was exposure on R&B Adult Contemporary radio but nothing would have happened outside of that. Unfortunately, it just doesn't fit with contemporary R&B. Too bad being that it's a much stronger song, lyrically and vocally, than most of the songs on her last disc.

And yes, the first time I heard it I immediately thought of the Jackson 5. biggrin

I hate to admit that, as a huge Mimi fan, I didn't discover "Do You Think Of Me" until a couple of years ago when I found out it was the B-Side to the "Dreamlover" single. "Do You Think Of Me" has become one of my favorite Mariah songs.

This was a b-side to "Never Too Far" that was released during Glitter. It's called "There For Me".

And this one is called "Misty Moon." it was played in a Japanese commercial but never released anywhere.

"When I Feel It" was originally written and produced by Carey and Mahogany for the The Emancipation of Mimi album. The song was supposed to be released on all versions of The Emancipation of Mimi and was confirmed as a track from early reports of the album's tracklisting. However, only weeks before the album was to be released, the sample of The Dynamic Superiors' "Here Comes That Feeling" that was used in the song was denied clearance by the original songwriters. Carey and her record label pleaded to have the sample cleared, but were once again denied. As a result, the track was not legally allowed to be released and the track "Joy Ride" replaced it on the album. A very brief and rough cell phone recording of a snippet of "When I Feel It" was leaked to the internet by fans of Carey in early 2005. The entire track leaked to the internet in July 2007 after a snippet was featured on Mahogany's official MySpace profile, but a controversy arose after fans complained that he had charged $1.99 for the song but failed to deliver it on time (see their official myspace page www.myspace.com/douknow07 ). In a recent interview with Rashmi Shastri Mahogany stated about "When I Feel It" that 'it's so soulful you would want the whole album to be like that'.

Yuck..

She's singing over a sampled 70's track, and the digital Y2K+ vocal Recordings does't match the dated sound of music..

She should hired some musicians to re-create the music...Oops.. Their all beatsmiths now who save $$$$ by not hiring session musicians..lol.

These modern producers seem to be very stingy and greedy..much like the industry...
