Top ten?

I don't know if I got it like that but I guess my favorite Neptunes songs go as follows:

1.) Kelis - Caught Out There
2.) N.E.R.D. - Lap Dance
3.) Grindin' - Clipse (that's the only track I ever liked from them)
4.) Kelis - I Just Wanna Be With You
5.) N.E.R.D. - That "Army song" I forgot the name of

That's it. Back in the day, I'd add "Frontin'" and "Let's Get Blowed" by Snoop Dogg. But I mainly like them because you can tell the '80s influences in them.

I just hate that Pharrell sounds like Curtis Mayfield had been drinking a lot of gin and tonic. lol

OMG "Comedy Central" by Clipse has to be
THE ILLEST BEAT PHARRELL EVER CREATED!!!

see... this is why only 10 is like... unfair lol

"Let's Get Blowed" is great too
so is "Say Something" by MiMi & Snoop

basically anything that Snoop ever
rapped on, that he produced... I LOVE IT!!!

"Drill Sergeant" from FOD is great too

and DEAD @ a drunken Curtis Mayfield lol

The beat's funky on this one (well of course the title already gave it away, lol).

Like I said before, he's a drunk-ass imitation of Curtis. lol

My schitt in the `01-`02 school year:
"Grindin" Clipse - yep heard that one early
"U Don't Have 2 Call" Usher
"Pass The Courvoisier (Remix)" Busta Rhymes featuring P. Diddy

those will probably stay in my Neptunes top 10 for life

You never know.Next year, they could produce another song like "Hollaback Girl" and sell 10 million copies. It's so unpredictable.

Unfortunately I hated Hollaback Girl. And the one where she yodels too!
I think PW was being too experimental with Gwen. Yum Yum is another song I dislike. The only song they did together I dig is U Started It.

Change Clothes - Jay Z

Don't Worry Bout It - N.E.R.D

Signs - Snoop Dogg/JT

"Hollaback Girl" is one of those songs that I liked but was too embarassed to admit it boxed It's cheesy and totally ridiculous and yet irresistible too.

hmmm I'll have to think about this for a while. Glad someone mentioned "Who" by Janet! Love that track!

"Excuse Me Miss" would be very high up, as well as "U Don't Have to Call."

Silly song, if anything it proves that people taste in music is in decline, selling 10 millions:-o ..Why? That’s of course regardless of the shallowness of the singer's character....

The song is dead now and it will be dead forever..

Well, I agree. I don't think anyone#s gonna do a cover version of it. Probably a sample in some decades when the 00s are hip again. wink

That's why I only chose songs with a proper melody. there's a good chance people will dig Rock Your Body in ten years too. I mean, it's 7 years old now and people still dig it!
