I had never really heard of this guy, but one day I was downloading some jazz songs and his name popped up. I heard a couple tunes of his and immediately downloaded more and more.

Here's some of my faves:

Don't Be Shy
Please Don't Say Goodnight
Read My Lips
Antonio's Song
Don't Be Blue
Tiger in the Rain
...I forgot the rest. And the thing is, I'm not really into Adult Contemporary/Jazz, but he's actually good to listen to.

I like some of his stuff. Love the track he sings on Joe Sample's 1989 album Spellbound.

I've always loved his voice and wanted to buy his music. Anyone have any outstanding album recommendations for a Franks newbie? Any would be greatly appreciated.

You might start with his greatest hits album- I think it's called "The Best Of Micheal Franks". You'll get some long standing favorites like "Popsicle Toes", "Tiger In The Rain" "Your Secret's Safe With Me", and "The Lady Wants To Know", among others. From there it's easiest to work your way back through his other recordings...Good luck and enjoy!
