NEW EDITION I remember first getting into music. I was in the 6th grade and the first 45 I owned was "Candy Girl". being from boston myself, NE was all everyone talked about. I got their album and fell in love with it and became an instant fan. But its their second album "Self Titled" that made me a loyal die-hard fan. I could play that album from start to end without skipping any songs. I know each and everyone off the top of my head. From "Cool It Now" to "Delicious", I was trapped with a NE addiction. I also enjoyed the "ALL FOR LOVE" and "HEATBREAK" albums. Everything else after that with the exception of the BOBBY BROWN Solo projects did nothing for me. Anyone else a fan of NE? I am an 80s Music Junkie !

They need to release deluxe editions of New Edition, All For Love and Heartbreak "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Love em!
But I am quick to add that much of my love stems from their working with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. My own NE all-time CD goes like this... Can You Stand the Rain Boys to Men Crucial (Brought back that SOS Band sound) A Little Bit if Love N.E. Heartbreak Newness You're Not My Kind of Girl I'm Still in Love with You Home Again I'm Leaving You Again Popcorn Love Oh, Ya, It Feels So Good I'm Comin' Home Kinda Girls We Like If It Isn't Love ...Ralph Tresvant has had some good solo stuff too.

Candy Girl was the fourth album I ever owned. I still like that record a lot (mostly for nostalgia reasons). I lost interest in NE when they dropped the J5 schtick afterward, but got back into them when they hooked up with Jam & Lewis.

Yes I am the biggest fan on this site..im proud to say..yes thank you thank you...
I have all their albums, most of their solo albums, B-Sides and 12 inch extended versions too. I am kind of feeling "Sweet Thing"...i just love those KEYS on that one! But Like you said Delicious is my brothers favorite NE tune...I have a great facination for Maryann too off of the New Edition album. I can go ON AND ON AND ON about them though. Hopefully they start producing that movie that they want to make...I remember Mike said that on Behind The Music. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
