Wow, I haven't heard this song in awhile but I love it and find it to be one of his most haunting.
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

that entire cd is his best work, and thats because there was alot of different people working on the entire album. thats usually what creates an timeless recording.

When it was released I bought it an no one seemed to know who he was. I couldn't stop playing it.
Still the only Lenny Kravitz album I own.

Oh yeah, he was still very new back then....

I have an old video tape of his called "Video Retrospective" from around that time and he basically said that he was meant to be an alternative artist, not a rock star or somebody famous like that.

He even said that he thought it was strange when he first became famous and folks started recognising him.

I don't think they can top 'Fade Into You' although I really like their 'Sweet Jane.' (I say 'their' because it's a cover.)

I like you already.

That's my favorite Lenny song ever as well.

Why on earth hasn't he made a decent album in at least 10 years?

Lenny and Mazzy were my 2 obsessions in the 90s - after the decade of purple love was over for me.
And I'm still obsessed with them really.

Yeah, I caught that last night and meant to say something. I think a lot of people mistake Cowboy Junkies for Mazzy Star on that song.

LENNY (:
One of my favorite artist's of all times.
Just like prince, lenny taught me what real music was at a very young age.
And this album right here....whoo...still sends chill's down my spine,

I encourage EVERYONE of you to give "Fields Of Joy" a listen.
Absolutely magical.
