3/28 Raphael Sasdiq Concert Awesome!

While everyone was seemingly having difficulties with the Princes multi concert experience, I chose to stay local and see Raphael Saadiq on the same night.

Prince's concert was most likey better (I've read that he played a lot of old school). except for the sound quality. However, Rapahel's was also great, with no lines and great sound quality, and it didnt' cost nearly as much to get in.

Will Prince tour again? Flying to and lodging in LA is quite expensive for those trying to be financially responsible in this economic climate. If it's a toss up beteween flying to see Prince and a local act, I'llsee the local act anytime. Are there any indications that Pince wiil tour again or only perform out of L.A.?

Did he leave and do an encore like in Mpls? My favorite per4mance was "Staying In Love" "Lay Your Head / Anniversary" and "Ooh Girl" with a good mention to Love That Girl
Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Yep, he did. Except it took him an awfully long time to come back. Everyone was screaming for an encoure so loudly, the sound was deafning. I liked the "Lay Your Head / Anniversary" performances too, but my favorite right now is 100 Yard Dash.

Me and my guy went to see him on the 12th here in Chicago. I really enjoyed myself. He did his encores (about the same as Mpls) I wanted him to do "never give you up" but he didn't have CJ with him or Stevie so lol but he made it up by doing a long version of "Skyy, can you feel me" cloud9 the whole set was nice nod
