One of her best ballads 1991's 'Prime Of My Life' album proved to be a huge comeback for her, with three Top 10 R&B singles...
"Don't Wanna Change The World" (reached Number One) "Living In Confusion" "When You Get Right Down To It" This was the hit album that she had been trying to get for years. It's sad that she was going through so much pain in her personal life,at a time when her career was finally taking off.

me too there's so much pain and heartbreak in her songs. You get the feeling that she was really going through what she was singing about.

I've been listening to her music for the last few days, there is so much I never heard before. [Edited 5/1/09 8:46am]

I felt in many of her songs she was giving us her biography, damn that someone else wrote it.
