Music Collection (CD/Recods/Cassettes)

I am about to sell off my music collection.
thousands of titles from the 80s to present.
Anyone know of a good place besides ebay to do this?

Can't believe you are doing that.

Just set reserve prices if you are concerned about eBay auctions low-balling. Everyone uses eBay.

You can sell it on Amazon. I have sold a few things on there. I had a great experience doing it. The biggest complaint is that it's hard to drive people to your items to view and purchase it.

Also, have you ever thought about opening up ur own site and have people pay you through paypal? You might can pay for some ad space on Google to drive people to your site.

If you don't mind me asking, how did ebay screw you? I've been selling quite a bit of stuff on there and my biggest complaint is the fees. They charge you quite a bit (if you factor in Paypal and Ebay together).

I've never had a Paypal Chargeback. I do agree about the fees. They are pretty bad. A lot of people would rather send a money order now than deal with Paypal.

I've sold stuff on Craigslist and love it. I just get weary meeting some people I'm unfamiliar with.

Another possible option is selling your stuff on www.discogs.com Their expanded database has already filed much text-details about releases.
So you can skip posting all those extras and add your list of artists, their release-titles, quality-conditions and your charged prices.
After you entered all that, their database-system will connect all your record-titles to the specific info-pages of releases,
in case a potential buyer would like to check the tracklist for example. I'm not informed though about their requirements for selling records there.

Yes that can be a bit strange. Especially if they have 2 come 2 your home.
