I was gonna say that it was later sampled here:



But the back cover of the 12inch single says that it was actually a sample of "What I Am" by Edie Brickell....which is strange, cos I don't hear that song at all. confuse

Didn't LL sample both "All Night Long" and "Keep Risin' to the Top"?

It's odd how those two songs are connected. Rick must've asked Keni if he could make the beat in his own way. I know both of them were bad-ass bass players, lol.

I was thinkin' "Eat 'Em Up L Chill" too. I think Timmy was referring to the electric piano drone from Keni Burke's intro that was layered into "Around The Way Girl".
