Great track & string-arrangements. Bought the soundtrack years ago and haven't played it in quite awhile.
As far as i could check, the track is unfortunately not on any Pieces-album, not even on the compilation i browsed for. In that same year they released their own album as well, including the Keni Burke-classic "Risin' To The Top" : | |

I haven't got the cd in direct reach now to check for more liner-notes. The band-lineup has had quite some changes through the years and i think that from the original members, drummer Curtis D. Harmon and keyboard-player James Lloyd have been part of it to this day. But it happens indeed sometimes that other studio-musicians are hired for specific tracks. Rayford is a topcat in the studio and live-circuit. Dude has performed for so many artists. | |
