we had a lot of fun - Maceo and his band where in real good mood - the concert lasted about 3 hours of pure funk!! One of my highlights was for sure his long and funky version of "baby knows" - havn't heard that for a long time and can't remember if I ever heard it live at at prince-concert - so I really got mad, when he played it. the venue in innsbruck is really small (space for about 500 visitors or so) - we stood about 5 or 6 meters in front of the stage - you only saw smiling and dancing people. when maceo came in, he told us that he likes such kind of tight venues (he often played here the last years) and I think that's one of the reasons, why they really gave their best. I was often thinking - man he is so tight with prince and now he plays in my hometown in such a small venue - great!!! greets nW [Edited 4/22/09 0:37am] | |

I saw him last week in Dornbirn! Didn't really know anything of him beyond what he did with James Brown and Prince, but I enjoyed it nevertheless! It was great! | |
