So months has passed by... are you still listening to "The Way I See It"? Raphael Saadiq's album dropped last fall, and we are now in the spring.
Are you still listening to the album? Most of it? Some tracks? A track or two?? Or you just don't listen to it at all anymore? | |

I jammed it a work last week. If I don't play the whole thing through, I usualy will only skip two tracks, Keep Marching and the Remix. PRINCE: Always and Forever

I saw him in concert in minneapolis last weekend and started listening to it even more than the time I was already listening to it...so I play a good 2-3 songs every day (either Oh Girl, Love That Girl, Staying In Love or Big Easy) Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Yep!!!!! Got the CD the day it came out.....saw him here in Seattle on Mar. 5th. I also got to meet him as he checked out of the hotel I work at; he was very cool. Oh yeah- I secured a VINYL copy of "The Way I See It" this past Friday!!!!!

I used to think "Calling" stood out too much, but then I imagined a video where the Latina was dressed like in West Side Story and Raphael was singing to her also dressed in 60s gear and now I think it works. I agree the "Oh Girl" remix at the end is terrible. | |
