In fact you can put stokley on lead vocals, louis johnson on bass, chris dave on drums, robert brookins on keyboard, and maurice on kalimba and as band producer and it's a done deal. Don't laugh at my funk

I listen to my old Brothers Johnson instrumentals - and I just shake my head when I hear Louis. That dude!!!! ...I knew Daddy Dave was dope but when I heard him on MeShell NdegeOcello's Comfort Woman CD - he went to a new level with me. ...Brookins is sooooo underrated. He can play anything. He always adds bottom to a band and I love his scratchy old soul voice. | |
