Heart - "Crazy on You" Dreamboat Annie (1976) My favorite Heart song! I love Nancy's guitar intro on this one, and Ann's vocals really drive this tune. Hot lyrics, too.

I'm having deja-vu. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

But it's a good kind, so just hush and enjoy it! If you'd rather, I could start another gossip, Debarge, Chris Brown, MJ thread...just let me know. In the meantime, this is yet another reason for you to watch The Virgin Suicides. This song was used perfectly in that film!

But you have sparked a Heart moment for me, since I'm listening to Dreamboat Annie right now in fact. A Debarge thread is a good idea though. I don't think anyone ever discusses those guys here. I actually prefer "Magic Man", but "Crazy On You" is right up there.
I want to see Heart live before they retire.

Perfectly acceptable opinion although it is, in fact, wrong.

Dear Ann,
I love you Ann, baby ...I hope you have gotten word by now that we have all forgiven you for the Mike Reno thing...and more importantly I hope you have forgiven yourself...It really pains me to think of all the self abuse that you put yourself through during the 80s and 90s - all those years spent chasing family boxes of Twinkies with family buckets of KFC, and all you really wanted was to forget the chorus to "Almost Paradise"...I forgive you, Ann baby. You were SUCH a coldblooded, badass rock and roll singer back in the 70s...you REALLY WERE everything that screaching talentless hack Janis Joplin was hyped up to be (but never was) by dickless rock critics everywhere. You were IT, girl. Love One Heart Fan [Edited 3/23/09 17:50pm]

My other fave from this set is Sing Child. Here's a live performance from 1976.

I would be all like "Hey fuck off about your girls at the office and whatever they use on their hair!" if my husband came home and said that to me. Straw?? The nerve. The husband in the commercial needs to open his own salon. So are you, Rip and I still going to see Heart the next time they play in Minneapolis?

(to both of your comments) I have to let you know soon exactly when I'm in Amsterdam next month. It's only for a few days since I'll be running around Europe for most of my trip.
