Just picked up Ladyhawke's self titled debut album, after seeing a TV advert singing its retro sound praises, and its a real gem. The New Zealand singer is pitched somewhere between Blondie and early Madonna, with a Killers sounding guitar edge thrown in for good measure.

One to keep an eye and ear on for sure!
