I don't see why Stuart would be mad because she worked with someone else. Working with Madonna you know she likes to change her sound and work with different producers. I don't see why anyone would expect if she worked with you on one record, she would necessarily want to work with you again.
As I remember, Stuart said she had decided to go R&B and that really wasn't his area and so he wasn't working on it. He didn't seem to have a problem with her going in a different direction. I don't see why he would. It's her record after all and it's her choice to do what she wants to dot.

He did diss Pharrell's style in another interview though. oh really? because last i remembered, he was eating sour grapes straight from the stem saying that she had sold out or somesuch nonsense by going the Timbaland/Pharrell route. http://jam.canoe.ca/Music...6-sun.html "I was just thinking about what I wanted to do next. I'd made a dance record -- my last album (2005's Confessions On A Dance Floor) -- which was mostly house music, and I was sitting around talking to (previous songwriting-producing collaborator) Stuart Price one day and he said, 'Well what do you want to do next?' I said, 'I want to make dance music as always.' And he said, 'Well, what kind of music do you like right now?' And I said, 'Well, the only records I love are Justin's and Timbaland's.' And he said, 'Well, why don't you work with them?' So I did. It's a great sound, so why not?" Other than this, he gave an interview to BBC where she said that Madonna went to the urban route without any remark, and then there's the infamous MixMag quote where he said Pharrell just recycles stuff. That's hardly a diss of Madonna "selling out", he just said his opinion about Pharrell. There was no beef between M and Stuart, no matter what the Hard Candy dislikers want to believe. I'm sure Stuart is eternally grateful that Madonna worked with him for seven years and as Glinda said, he surely didn't expect Madonna to forever work with him. LOL @ badujunkie! I have to agree, "Vogue" is a milestone in her career, but Madonna did not part ways with Shep well, so that's probably why she didn't thank him...

hence: live to tell, erotica, like a virgin, burning up, borderline - on her last fewtours. I really like the reworked version of Erotica, and i thought Burning Up was ok - but i agree the rest were pretty poor. Her reworked versions of Vogue, Into The Groove & Like A Prayer on this tour are very good though. Ive got the studio demo remix of Vogue and it sounds brilliant with Timbalands beat, and played loud. I think harcore fans appreciate the reworked versions - I as a casual fan would like to hear songs as i know them.

Does she do this all the time? Seems like she rarely reaches out to fans like this and tells us what is going on. Than again, maybe she doesn't know....The Greatest Hits coming out this Spring? Does she have her seasons confused? Can't wait for the DVD (if that actually happens, too).

@ the "abducted"...I believe that should be "abdicated"! Freudian slip? "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

I was surprise she said spring. but maybe it will be out til the end of June?

She used to do the ICON letters a long time ago, but now it's getting back in fashion, with Guy confirming so much stuff lately and them Twittering very often. It's a change of the way she's marketed. We know more about the GH session than any of her other studio sessions this decade. In the past it was fansites giving out these tidbits, now they changed the ways.
The seasons and the "abducted" are mistakes, in the same issue Liz Rosenberg said it's coming the fall. If it came in June, it would be a good idea, but then they would have announced release dates and everything already.

"Holiday" & "Dress You Up" are strongly rumoured as the new songs for the show. One of them is definitely replacing a Hard Candy track, but the other one might be just an addition (like instead of the request section?)...

Everytime someone in M's camp takes a big turd, Dress You up is rumored to be in the set. why not? She only did it twice, such a shame. an underrated classic. The chorus is one of her best. You can say what you want... personally I think her songs written with S. Bray from 1984 are boring (save for Angel) but her A&R man got M three perfect songs that helped defining her image: Material Girl - it's still quoted when it comes to her business LAV - first controversy Dress You Up - she had a strange style and the song served as a theme for that. without these songs she would not have become the superstar she is! Into The Groove was great but nothing new,´the usual themes: dancing, romancing, waiting/hesistating

I just downloaded the new issue #51 and I think it's one of the best issues ever.Lots of color pictures and they brought back Liz "The Validator"! She always sets the record straight and lets you know what's really going on.Compared to recent issues, this one seems like they actually put some effort into it.I joined the fanclub strictly for the concert ticket presales, but getting ICON is a nice feature. "Holiday"? Nah,she should let that song continue to rest for awhile. She's performed it on too many tours already. "Dress You Up" That would be a good choice.Fans are starving to hear her perform it again. I wonder if "Angel" will ever be considered again? That's my favorite song from LAV.

Stars can quickly fall and I think Madonna kept her hat int he ring and never stopped for 10 years. Christian Zombie Vampires

I think it's tough. But then again Frozen was the real big surprise in 1998, lead single etc and Don't Tell Me was a big hit but Music alone would have been enough as well. And what about 4 Minutes, which provided her her biggest us hit since 1990, though I would agree it won't be seen as important soon. Holiday on the other hand has had a much longer breath than Borderline or Lucky Star. at the end of the day we have to admit that her scandals (linked with certain songs) helped the most. LAV, Papa, LAP come into mind.

Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala
Madonna attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala - The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion - in New York on Monday 04 May. Madonna certainly stood out from the crowd in an outfit from Louis Vuitton's Autumn/Winter 09 collection.

you have to wonder how much is actual fitness though - it's just NOT natural for a 50 year old woman to have THAT body! just NOT! no matter how much diet and exercise... ...you gotta figure it's gotta be also some lipo, colonics (?), spanx, titty jobs, lotion, moisturizer, ...etc etc...
