Who's digging Jimi Hendrix today

Jimi Hendrix is like the greatest guitar God, I can't get enough of his stuff, you hear the guitar in all his stuff, Experience, Band of Gypsies, live and you realise that he was so ahead of his time. The Lyrics were pretty amazing too.
Today I am really digging "Castles made of sand" and "Angel"
Anyone else feeling him now
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

Been on a Jimi/Funkadelic kick lately. Been listening to a lot of Jimi bootlegs.

Jimi's music to me is like fine wine. Take a sip, enjoy it, and put away to savor another day.

I do more than hear him, I pretend I am there, his music was ethereal and other worldly. "Fly on my sweet angel, fly on through the sky..."

...Rainy Day, Dream Away & Still Raining, Still Dreaming

These two songs bookend what I feel is Jimi Hendrix at his best in the studio, the 1983...(A Merman I Should Turn to Be)/Moon, Turn the Tides...Gently Gently Away sequence.

Unfortunately, Youtube didn't have these tracks without the posters blatant adverts. confused

No doubt.

...Red House

This is the recorded version from the English release of Are You Experienced?
It's more animated than the one that was released in the U.S. on...

...Smash Hits

I hasten to add the thing he does at about 4:02 was either ingenious or a really cool mistake. Took me a minute to realize how he did that. :whoa:

Jeffiner's checking out his clothes. lol
