Really love the lyrics to this one, they're so self deprecating. And people say Bono doesn't have a sense of humor...

Dressing like your sister
Living like a tart
They don't know what you're doing
Babe, it must be art
You're a headache
In a suitcase
You're a star

and

They want you to be Jesus
They'll go down on one knee
But they'll want their money back
If you're alive at thirty-three
And you're turning tricks
With your crucifix
You're a star
I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

yeah I always liked this one. One of my fav U2'S.
I was real into it at the time it was out.

i love this track. the video is one of those few that actually capture what the song is about (Batman stuff aside). i think my favorite part is when Bono is hit by the car and he drops the book he's reading, "The Screwtape Letters." the book is about demons that distract people and lead them off the path to God, and Bono is obviously writing about getting caught up in the distraction of superstardom (during the Zoo TV era).

man, i love this band! hahah!

Classic, one of the best U2 anthems of the 90's, and 100000 times better than anything on "Pop" (1997)

The exclusion of this track was a big obvious FAIL for the singles compilation U218.

i've always thought this riff sounds a hell of a lot like bowie's panic in detroit. (and no line on the horizon has a similar guitar riff to iggy pop's lust for life).
