I was slightly ironic. I prefer many Emotions song over Boogie Wonderland. But I don't get the hate for Boogie Wonderland though. It has a strong melody, great middle and yet people despise it and pretend this song is to blame for EWFs lack of succes in the 80s.
If they had strong songs like Boogie in the 80s, they WOULD have success.

(Now please don't come with that Disco Sucks thang. You all know how succesful Kool And The Gang were with Disco songs until the mid 80s!)

I don't have any hate for "Boogie Wonderland", but it doesn't compare to the the previous work of EWF or The Emotions. The song did what it was supposed to do...be a POP hit. It still sounds good and has so many great elements. Especially from a musical standpoint, but I'd rather listen to "Blessed" or "Best of My Love".
