Billy Ocean - Suddenly

"There's beauty up above, and things we never take notice of,
you wake up, and suddenly, you're in looooove"

Easily his best song.

ya know,I'm gonna have to go out and buy a copy of Billy's 'Suddenly' CD.I had the album back in the day and I remember liking the entire Side One alot:

"Caribbean Queen" (a longer,extended version)
"Mystery Lady"
"Syncopation"
"The Long And Riding Road" (remake of Beatles classic)

Mystery Lady was the slick cut on that album for me.
Ironically me and a co worker heard over the speaker the other day
lover boy and we both said that song sucked.
Call me cheesy but i like when the going gets tough. lol

Sounds like he made an interesting album.

I recently saw an episode of "Everybody Hates Chris". The b-story was that Chris sister joined Columbia House (or whatever....I don't think they actually named it) and didn't understand that she had to not only buy albums and pay for shipping. Anyway, she only ordered Billy Ocean LPs and was obsessed with him. Of course, the titles were mostly fictional, I believe. A bunch of joke titles. One of them was "Greatest Hits" or "Best of". Chris' voiceover said "That was a single". But of course, the man truly ruled the eighties with a ton of hits right after "Caribbean Queen" (had a few minor hits before that which were really good but didn't appear on his actual "GH" album). If you get his old hits Cd, I think all of the tracks were Top Ten pop.
