I like how 80's alot of these tracks are, but the mixing of these tracks are terrible or just dull. Thats modern "MP3 generation" recording techniques for ya! Everything loud as hell. No subtlety. No restraint. | |

Your probably right, but some of these songs sound commercial to me aswell. I hate to say it, but alot of people making these albums/songs in their bedroom or wherever, just, as you said, maximise every part of the production and it's too harsh for me. This goes for proper, mainstream releases alot of the time to. Everything compressed and horrible. This is just a phase, and hopefully wont last. | |

Fever Ray's videos are mesmerizing. Her album's really good. I really like "Concrete Walls" and "Triangle Walks."
I'm really into Telepathe right now. From brooklyn, girl duo. Interesting live setup. I read an interesting review that called them the Ghetto Cocteau Twins lol. Their album is called and one of my favorites! Their album is called Dance Mother.
