I hate sites that auto-start with music and you have to find the damn player to turn it off. People do that crap with their MySpace pages; crowd the page with media and then have some random player auto-start and you have to search the page up and down for it. Its never the obvious one that's the first one you see.

Cool little phone interview. I know her voice so I had no trouble believing it was her but for those doubting Thomases and Thomasinas, it was good to have her sing on the phone.

Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam is essential eighties dance pop (or freestyle...or R&B...whatever!).
Sadly, they've all but been forgotten by Sirius/XM on two channels which should play them....the eighties channel and the disco/freestyle/classic dance channels ignore them! And that is a really great site. Lives up to it's name. Very cool to see all that info on new releases by some of our favorites artists. [Edited 3/11/09 11:26am] | |

her voice is 4eva awesome but aint she like 50 now? and big as two houses on fast food street? I can't take a rebirth of Lisa Lisa absent the Cult Jam and them dudes that discovered her. Can't recall the name of those two steroid singers.  | |

No, She isnt 50, lol.
She has 2 kids, ages 2 and 4. She has a new album coming out in May I did an interview with her and it will be up on site soon. btw, you all should post your thought on thatsite about how she got her name. She's also a member of that site too if you look in the "Featured members" section I am an 80s Music Junkie ! | |
